computes LINEAR cutting rates. In the real world, the
cutting rates vary as a function of the geometry of the
part. Abrasive Jet machining is like cutting with a floppy
tool. The jet must slow down when entering and exiting
corners to allow for the bottom of the jet to catch up
with the top.

RATES COMPUTED ARE
APPROXIMATE. They are to give someone who does not have
any abrasive jet experience some feel for how fast things
can be made. These rates are not intended to be used in
actual machining operations.
