          Fluid dynamics plays a role of enormous importance in everyday life in the world around us, and inside our body. The variety of fluid dynamical phenomena is almost endless. Off course, it is impossible to study all possible aspects of fluid dynamics.

        The research activities of the AFM group are: Unsteady flows, quantitative visualization of flow phenomena, vortex flows, flow measurement techniques and flow control in the complex geometries, flows in pipes and channels, hydraulic systems, non-Newtonian fluids in pipes, two-phase flows, wind energy, heating and cooling systems.
